Basketball, Girls Swim & Dive, Co-Op Ice Hockey Registration will close on November 15 at 3pm. 

Wrestling Registration closes on November 22 at 3pm.

Important information for homeschooled, charter or Private School Students

Sports Registration for all students homeschooled, or enrolled in a private or charter school or online school who wish to participate on a TRHS athletic team MUST complete paperwork to register as a ThunderRIdge student for the purpose of extracurricular activities.  You will not be able to register for any sport until this paperwork has been completed and processed by the TRHS Registrar.

Registration Steps:

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

There are 3 steps to the registration process for TRHS Sports.  All MUST be completed before the first day of Official practice in order for the athlete to be eligible:

1.  Register on this site and pay required athletic fee. NOTE: If you are not prepared at this time to pay the $185 Registration fee, please log out and return when you have payment ready.  The payment links are HIDDEN and WILL NOT appear on your student's My School Bucks Account. You MUST register and pay in the same session.

2. Have current Sports Physical on file with TRHS Athletic Office.  (forms can be found and downloaded in the Emergency & Medical Contact Information Section of this online registration as well as on the FORMS tab of Sports physicals are good for 365 days from date physician signs.

3.  Athlete must register with CHSAA following the steps below.

CHSAA Requirement:

 Student Athletes must create an account with CHSAA using one of the following methods (IF ATHLETE REGISTERED WITH CHSAA LAST YEAR, THEY DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN):

  • FROM ATHLETE'S PHONE: Text S41323 to 69274.  You will then receive a text reply with a link to create an account.
  • Create an account at from any desktop, laptop, tablet, iPad, or smartphone.  
  • NOTE: If this step is not complete by the FIRST DAY OF OFFICIAL PRACTICE, the athlete will not be eligible to participate in tryouts and/or practices until this step is complete with CHSAA.

Lambert Named Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to Spencer Lambert.  He was named Continental League Athlete of the Month for September for Football.  


ThunderRidge has 191 Juniors and Seniors participating in Fall sports.  Of those student-athletes, 129 have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher which qualifies them for the CHSAA All-Academic Team .  Great job STUDENT-ATHLETES!!!
